Ok so I believe I am now in my sanity to write a blog about my thesis experience after those very hectic activities I had. Finally, my paper is now on its revision stage putting up every single detail I failed to do and incorporating suggestions and comments in my manuscript. (As usual I'm at McDo with my McCoffee) [May 08, 2017]
There are a lot of things happened in my conduct of thesis which I believe I never had experienced before(in my last year in general). I am now in my senior year, a stage wherein it is very critical, i need to be so focused and serious this time(with little gaming of course). I spent so much effort not because i have major subjects but because i need to prepare myself for that one big goal --finishing my thesis on time. I only have 15 units load left for my last semester, Biotech and evolutionary biology among my bio subjects. Humanities and Philosopy subjects which I am not into it but I am trying my best and together with my Bio200B subject--my thesis.
My Thesis Proposal
In my first semester, my BIO200A subject was a surprise to me, I don't know what really happened but i think I nailed it with my flat 5.0 rating in my defense in just 15 mins. Not to brag about it but that, for me is my greatest achievement.
A Great Challenge
There were a lot of questions piling up in my mind whenever i hear the word "thesis". Most of the time I am thinking of stress, problems and most of all a test of patience and hardwork. In my program, thesis is individually done which is for me, is a good idea because you will know how to gauge yourself more when it comes to carrying out the theoretical concepts you learned in your class rooms. It will also give you a chance to apply the discipline you built in your laboratory activities. Moreover, I am lucky indeed because I worked under USAID STRIDE-funded research wherein i had so much financial assistance as well as my very suportive adviser, DR. Shirley Agrupis, who had pushed me so hard and inspired me a lot to finishing my study.

I have more pictures to show but it would make this blog too long to read hehehe so I decided to to focus more in my story.
I don't understand but seems I felt so confident when I started my thesis. I was so excited to a point wherein I am one of the early students who started formal experiment. But later, I felt so insecure because upon seeing my timeline I thought I cannot finish my 5 objectives. I am one of the early birds but I cant find a worm lol. And I am among of the students who finished the study very late :(
2. Why I don't write notes? because of one reason, I will never understand the topic if I am not focused to my teacher. I cannot multitask writing and listening like my classmates do.

Why People Think I am so "BALLOG"
Yeah I admit, I never was a common student. Some of my classmates and teachers know this, "Ako na ata ang pinakapariwarang estudyante ng bio IV hahahaha". Considering the proximity of my school to home, I travel more than 30 kms and more than hour in one-way just to attend classes hehehe that's why I am almost spending my time in Laoag (Mcdo), IT park and many more with my squad after school. And more importantly I am used to staying all by myself because sometimes self-unwinding is very important. But that doesn't mean I am an irresponsible student hahahaha.
That maybe the reason why they call me, "detoy man tay ballogen" and I must say "No! this is just me trying to unwind"
The ISSUES
And to address these issues, Why I am always late going to school?, why I don't write notes?, Why is it ok for me to almost flank exam?
1. I am always late going school not because I wake up too late. Everyday I wake up around 4-5 AM, it's just maybe a nature of me that I always miscalculate my timeframe hahaha.
2. Why I don't write notes? because of one reason, I will never understand the topic if I am not focused to my teacher. I cannot multitask writing and listening like my classmates do.
Thanks to them they let me photocopy and picture their notes.
3. It is ok for me to almost flank exam, because I blame myself of not doing my part--reviewing.
